💼 Board of Directors

🌿Governance:

👨‍💼 Jamal Smith, Executive Director – 15+ years in nonprofit leadership.

🎤Jamal Smith is a passionate entrepreneur, community advocate, and dedicated supporter of meaningful connections. With a background in sales development and revenue enablement, he has honed his ability to engage, educate, and inspire others. His expertise lies in creating engaging experiences, fostering relationships, and sharing knowledge in ways that bring people together.

Though Jamal's journey has taken him to many places, Altadena will always be home. Having spent his first ten years there and later returning for several years as an adult, he is committed to supporting the city in every way possible. The recent Eaton fire deeply impacted his community, as several of his family members and countless friends lost their homes. Witnessing their struggles has only strengthened his dedication to giving back and fostering resilience within Altadena.

With years of experience in sales development and revenue enablement, Jamal has a natural ability to connect with people and create engaging educational experiences. As a host, his warm, knowledgeable, and approachable style ensures that every guest feels welcomed and inspired.

Our leadership team ensures transparency, accountability, and efficiency in every project we undertake.
